Applications typically close annually on March 1. However, this year we extended our deadline to April 24. Due to the unforeseen circumstances our world has been facing, we made the decision to keep the application process open well over the deadline. The goal? Allow as many people the opportunity to apply as possible, with the understanding that this pandemic caused hardship and our applicants needed more time.

And, we are so glad we did! In total, we had 36 students apply for scholarship. In the coming week, our applicants will be notified if they met the minimum eligibility requirements and how they can move forward in the process to receive scholarship grants from the various funds managed at Desert Scholarship Foundation.
